Joseph Klein

Dr. Joseph Klein has over 25 years of demonstrated R&D experience in the fields of organic synthesis of new chemical entities and the development of biopharmaceuticals.

Joseph served as VP of R&D in Complexx LLC and as Director of Chemistry and Drug Development and Head of the Downstream Process Development group in InSight Biopharmaceuticals. His extensive experience includes the development of novel imaging agents for CT and MRI from early stages to phase III clinical studies, developing new chemical entities in the fields of cancer and autoimmune inflammatory diseases, developing sophisticated generics from concept to commercialized, and developing purification processes of recombinant proteins and antibodies as active substances in a variety of biopharmaceuticals.

Joseph holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science, followed by a post-doctorate fellowship at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium in the field of organic synthesis.
